Autumn Inside

I felt a bit strange a couple of weeks ago while I was walking around my neighborhood, picking up dead leaves, twigs and acorns and stuffing them into my tote bag. Especially when I got the branch full of dead leaves (seen in picture two) that was too large to safely hide away in my bag making it seem all too obvious that my furtive snatches at bits of organic detritus were not from an impulsive appreciation of autumnal beauty, but more likely the compulsive obsession of a crazy woman. So, it is at the expense of my reputation in the neighborhood that I bring you the following photographs:

Fantastic! Some of your best work yet! I love the colors, lighting and arranging! Such a pleasing rhythm and harmony can be seen with a mediative regard. The blacks seem to be slowly devouring Autumn's splendor foretelling what comes before Winter's purifying snow. (Californians don't know what "purifying snow" is or are trying to forget)
Did I get too deep? Help...I can't get out!

Am I embarrassing you? HaHa ⦆:)

Oooh... "devouring Autumn's splendor." Nice one Dad. Here, let me give you a hand out of whatever abyss you're sinking into.

Yeah, Larry. Nice words. Wish I could compete. My only observation is that I looked at these pictures a few days ago, and I could have sworn the leaves were greener then. Could they be changing like the ones on the trees?
