This is my cousin Amy with my new darling niece Lainie:
Here's another cousin of mine, Brian, and his daughter, Nicole. Nicole is one of the eldest of her generation of the family and I am the youngest of mine. Now that she is in high school I have to resist the urge to say things such as "Golly, you've grown up! I remember when you were this big..." and I begin to feel the first twinges of fright at the passage of time.
Here is Joelle and Lainie again looking drowsy in her candy PJs:
And the matriarch of the family, my Grandmother Pauline Forbes. Doesn't she look lovely?
I still don't have a car, but I have a long weekend, so I hope to have some other pics to post soon. I plan on an entry full of Zoe pictures because she and the camera are good friends.Just for fun, here is a picture of my car:

I like that pink stripped jumper. That kid rocks. That pic of you car though? Doesn't rock. My car misses your car, and now they are both junk, and I cry.
I'm like a freaking poet after midnight.
I like to think of my car as an organ donor, living on, giving new life to other cars across the country and even the world. It's really the only thing that gets me past the tears.
That kid does rock, btw. She's effing adorable.
